Occupy the coffee pot

Officer Pike demonstrates how to refill the coffee pot with a fresh brew.  Even though we may be preoccupied at work, please demonstrate your respect for fellow coworkers.

Scumbag Vader

And now for something completely different...an image macro that has nothing to do with coffee!

This combines the easily-quotable scene from the Empire Strikes Back where Lando complains that the "deal keeps getting worse all the time".  I've been applying the Scumbag Steve meme to a bunch of things lately, and it seems to fit pretty well here too.

McGruff says...

Take a bite out of crime!  I suppose this one could be combined with the Hamburglar for an extra dose of nostalgia, but that will be for another day.

Don't look at it, no matter what happens!

Branching out into a whole new genre of comic strip style coffee pot signs.  I'm not sure how practical it is to print out a full-sized piece of paper and tape it to a coffee pot, but oh well.

As far as the sign goes, if you haven't watched Raiders of the Lost Ark along with every other Indiana Jones movie on TV marathons about 1000 times like me, you might not know the fantastic and easily quotable scene at the end of the movie (spoiler alert).  Now that I step back and look at it though, I think the political correctness wording change makes it lose some of the crispness and idiocy of the original wording.  Oh well, enjoy!

Because it's sterile and I like the taste

Wrapping up the week with one I wouldn't recommend posting at work:
Man vs Wild guy Edward "Bear" Grylls reminds us that there are worse things than having to wait for a cup of coffee in the morning.

Posted a new coffee pot sign - better drink my own piss.

Y U NO REFILL COFFEE POT?!

The title tells it all.  This brilliant meme adaptation was brought to you buy Rod H. from work.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with rage comics, welcome to the internet.

A coffee machine within a coffee machine

While we're on the subject of internet memes...

The funny thing is, I don't even remember this part of Inception.  I didn't even like that movie.  The entire time, someone would come up with some overly elaborate plan requiring a great degree of coordination and synchronization, but then not explain it to anyone else on the team until they're driving to the location and everything is about to hit the fan.  I don't know what that method of storytelling is called, but it gets very old very quickly.

Scumbag Steve is a scumbag

It occurred to me while trolling on Memebase that Scumbag Steve would make a perfect coffee pot sign.  After I started making one, it occurred to me that someone on the internet might have thought of this already.  Sure enough, someone has:

Um, WINNING?

Admittedly I am not an expert on Charlie Sheen hi-jinx.  That said, multiple people have requested Charlie Sheen themed coffee pot signs.  Here's my best attempt.  If you have other awesome quotes that can be transformed into coffee pot puns, post them in the comments.  Or better yet, make a full-on coffee pot sign and email it to coffee.pot.blog@gmail.com!

You can't explain that!

Inspired by Daily Show and Colbert Show episodes, or rather, by a clip from the O'Reilly Factor, where Bill O'Reilly proves the existence of God through his flawless powers of reasoning:  "The tide goes in, tide goes out: never a miscommunication.  You can't explain that."  And in case that isn't enough compelling evidence, Bill further quiets any naysayers by adding, "the sun goes up, the sun goes down".

Watch the clip!  It's one of my favorite Colbert Report segments.

This sign was further inspired by this internet meme, which is brilliant:

I find the lack of coffee disturbing

Refilling the pot does not require the use of the force.  If you take the last cup, please brew another pot.

Definitely one of my favorite scenes from Star Wars IV: A New Hope.  What's that?  You want to see more Star Wars inspired coffee pot signs later this week?  As you wish.

Go ahead, make my coffee

Admittedly, I wasn't actually all that familiar with the movie Dirty Harry, but I was able to watch the scene on youtube

I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Coffee pot threat level

I just happened to run across this on the internet.  It looks like there are more fans of funny coffee pot signs out there!  Hilarious!

This coffee pot sign will self destruct

And in the last of the nostalgia series of coffee pot signs (for now), Inspector Gadget saves the day.  Go go Gadget Refill-Coffee-Pot!

Duh duh-duh duh-duh Inspector Gaaadget!  Duh duh-duh duh-duh oo ooooo!!

More than meets the eye

The truth is, I didn't watch much of the Transformers cartoon, and even had to consult with the internet to find a dialog from the show to manipulate into coffee pot propaganda.  I was actually more into the short-lived GoBots series.  I never did get that Leader-1 action figure for Christmas so many years ago :(

Catching the Hamburglar

Whatever happened to the Hamburglar, Officer Big Mac, and Mayor McCheese, anyway?  I guess I got this one subtlety wrong with this MSPAINT coffee pot sign, since the Hamburglar is using a Starbuck's coffee mug instead of drinking McDonald's premium coffee.  Maybe I can get Starbucks to pay me royalties on this one.  Or at least not sue me.
